The Hero in You

Nationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Ellis Paul, has just released a brand new family album entitled, The Hero in You.
The project serves as a follow up to The Dragonfly Races, Ellis' first family album which was named to National Public Radio's 'Top 10 List' as well as winning a Parents Choice Award.
In his second family release, Ellis crafted not only the songs, which are centered on true American heroes throughout history including Rosa Parks, Ben Franklin, Jackie Robinson, Woody Guthrie, Martha Graham and more, but also all of the beautifully colored illustrations included on the album cover and in the album booklet. This collection of songs was created by Ellis Paul to remind both parents and children of the importance that these incredible individuals had on American culture and history. America enjoys the kind of freedoms that have produced a long list of free thinkers, risk takers, innovators. By creating a dialogue within the family, and in the classroom, Ellis hopes to inspire kids to reach for the same great heights that these wonderful characters achieved.
